Webster Brownfield Opportunity Area

Webster Brownfield Opportunity Area

Steele Landscape Architecture supported Colliers Engineering & Design in planning and community design initiatives on the former Xerox lands in Webster, New York. This project involved analyzing existing trails, developing new multi-use trail connections, and conceptualizing a 4.5-acre Hojack Rail Park. Inspired by the area's railroad history, the park incorporates elements of the former Hojack Line, now a multi-use trail.

Additionally, a key focus was on creating multi-use trail connections along Phillips Road to link the village with the community recreation center. This concept plan, part of the Webster Brownfield Opportunity Area study, emphasizes environmental sustainability, history, and recreation.
